Does anyone know how to modifiy the rear air springs on these trucks so they will ride at the "High" setting regardless of vehicle speed? Or, does anyone know where I might be able to find this info? Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

look for the trail-lex article. iirc you trick the sensor by bending the bracket untill you are satisfied.

 

Raise it up to where you want the vehicle to be and then pull the fuse for the air control. There is a member who did this to their 4Runner w/air suspension.

unfortunately the Trailex rear lift was not permenant, all they did was raise the rear airbags to the high position. which goes back down after a certain speed is reached.

i too have been trying to find a solution in giving my GX a lift.

Hmm, I thought they were the one's who modded their air system to not go down, maybe I'm wrong. I know someone has. Either they changed something in their computer, or they pulled out some relay or fuse to prevent the system from going back down. I wish I could find it for you.

 

Some guy here pulled the fuse to his rear air bags and it stayed up. It gave a warning light, but he just put a piece of electrical tape over the light so it wouldn't annoy him!

 

If I'm not mistaken there is an adjustable sensor for the normal (auto leveling setting) which can be adjusted for more height. I don't think you adjust it as high as the high setting.

exactly, but i thought that they said you can get it to stay all of the way up.
