door handle removal, lock cable broken...

door handle removal, lock cable broken...
Ok....during speaker installation, I broke the cable that goes from the interior door lock to the door latch, I got the latch out, replaced the cable, now can't get the latch back in, I'm now assuming that I have to remove the door handle to get it back in, how does the door handle come off??
