Cornfed 4th Gen lifts

I know there are a few 4th Gen 4Runners on the eastcoast that are running the Cornfed lift. I would like to see some pics and hear your likes or dislikes of them.

Thanks in advance

There are several write-ups over at t4r.org. Most of the members over there are not as off-road focused as those on this forum. However, the ones with the lifts, for the most part, seem to use them

I have one. So far I like it. And I do take my truck off-road often. This was one of the best mods I've done. Right now I'm not worrying about rocks and mudholes on trails.

Thanks for your replies

I have talked with the Portsmouth shop and I will probably have them install it this spring. I would like to run BFG 285/70R17 A/T's (32.8") but I am not sure if they will rub or not while offroad.

285/70 R17 will be rubbing. Even 275/70 will have some. You'll have to cut-off some plastic and do some metal work if you will mount them on stock rims, or only plastic if you'll go with 17x8 with 4-1/2 backspacing aftermarket ones.

You will fit the 275's without rubbing on stock 17" wheels - or in the worst case you might touch the plastic wind deflector when reversing on full lock but no need to cut anything.

I have a 2.5 Daystar spacer lift and 275's and I wheel pretty aggressively for a basically stock 04 Runner.

For what it's worth I will probably try 285's next but am prepared for some minor trimming with new wheels.
