can I lock to 4wd on 2006 4runner?
Hi,
I need some advice on driving my 2006 4runner in the snow. I loved my '98 that I could lock in 4wD and standard transmission went anywhere, but this new beast -- 2006 automatic transmission v8 4runner -- slips and slides and fish tails around on my snowy mountain road. I called toyota and they claimed there was a way to lock or keep it in 4wd. Anyone know how to do this? Any other great advice on driving an automatic transmission effectively in the snow? (And I'm oh so so sad that toyota doesn't make manuals any more .... =( )Thank yoU!
