4wd Transfer Case Actuator Internals - Who has opened theirs up???

Has anyone dissected the actuator that is attached to the transfer case? My 4low is not engaging and I'm pretty sure it's because the motor is stuck (same thing happend to my ADD motor). It is a mess of gears in there and any assistance on how each is positioned would be helpful. There is one gear that seems to rotate around with a hook that catches another gear. The only info and pics that I've found is from this thread: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-ge...placement.html

However, it doesnt show the how the gears are to be aligned with the gear with the hook. Anyone have some advice?
