I have a 4th Gen 2005 4Runner and I want to cut the resonator off the exhaust and install a magnaflow tip on the side. Does anyone know a reputable muffler place in Orange County that will do this? I know the tip has to be welded.

Hm. You might have wanted to put the Orange County part in your subject line ... but anyway, good luck! I had the same thing done to mine, and loved the way it turned out.

 

any ol muffler shop can do this job. it'll take about 15-30min tops which should cost you anywhere from 20-30 bucks. I'd personally only pay like 10 bucks though since it's a quick cut and weld job. good luck

 

Orange county FL yes Orange county CA no. Did the same to mine but added a Flowmaster. Had them cut out the rez and put the tip to the side. Simple 20 min job. I would bet any muffler shop could knock it out. Mine was $100 including the slash cut bling crome tip.
