Hey guys,

Does anyone know where the ENGINE coolant drain is for the 2007 Tacoma 4 cylinder 2.7L? I'm talking about the ENGINE drain -- I know where the radiator drain is.

I'm trying to empty all my coolant at once so I can fill with prediluted toyota pink. I had done a full flush, so right now I just have distilled water in the system, and I can't drain all the water just though the radiator. If I can't drain all the water at once, I will have over-diluted mixture.

I have looked all over online for answers but can't find anything. The 2006 FSM shows the engine drain shows the location as front-left but I can't find it on my 2007.

Have you considered leaving the water in there and filling with non diluted coolant?

 

Can't drain all the water at once anyway. Unless you pull the heater core.


Oh yeah...let me guess. You found it on the other side of the block? Imagine that!
