2006 Tacoma TRD *now with Sway-A-Way lift and new wheels/tires*

Just finished the Sway-A-WAy 2.5 coilovers, front sway bar, along with rear AAL and 1" block. I opted for stock shocks for now, until the Bilsteins are ready, or the Donahoes come down in price.

Also installed American Racing Crater Teflon wheels with BFG All-Terrains 285/75 R16. I like the way it looks, can't wait for it to stop raining so I can wash this thing... =D

HUGE thanks to Wheelers OffRoad. As always, they have great products, always ready with advice, and they had the products on my doorstep within 3 days (free shipping too!). They are, by far, the best online retailer I've ever used.

Sorry for the crummy pics, it's late, and dark, I'll take better ones tomorrow.

Exactly, NICE!!!! I can't wait to see this full side profile.

I have to say that the new Tacoma body style is killer. It's just bigger and meaner looking...

If the fog light mod is the one that keeps the fogs on with the high beams, please post how to do this...

My first thread and I had to revive an old thread. I had to do it, I've been searching all over for info on the AR Crater wheels. P.Bauer, can you send me a PM? I want to know if you had to grind the calipers or use spacers 'cus the local wheel dealers in Yuma say that these wheels do not fit the 07 tacomas.

They fit with no issues (16 inch). I called American Racing direclty and they shipped it all to me. Center caps, wheel locks and lugs.

Thanks.

Why would his rear end blow with a lift and new shoes? If rear end failures were common among the 05+ tacomas, we'd have TSB's, recalls, and slumping sales. The reality is that we have a few isolated reports, primarily in early 05 production and with people doing pretty hardcore wheelin. Don't really get your post, especially in this thread.

P Bauer - that truck looks very nice! That's the first time I've seen those wheels on an 05+ Tacoma - looking forward to a full shot of the truck in the daylight.
FWIW - I would have left the center caps off, but that's just me....
