Do the TSB's apply to 4Runners that are out of factory warranty?

The TSB says it is covered for 3yrs/36k miles so I would have to say no, but it all depends if the dealership will cover you. The TSB only came out late 2005, so some people have had this problem from day one of ownership (like me). I had complained about it, but at the time there was no TSB. I figure, if you have a complaint filed at one point they should fix it even though you are out of warranty because your original complain was when you were in warranty. It's not your fault they did not have a fix when you had complained.

The TSB applies to those models but that doesn't mean that they are covered by warranty. The part price is $442.00. A bit pricey but a real annoying seat click.

Since my 4R has the side air bags the dealer had to order an entire front seat last week and installed it today. This was cool with me since with 31k on my 06, the drivers side leather was already starting to show wear on the left side of the seat where I slide in and out. The service writer said that it was almost $3k! No squeek, rattles, or movement in the new seat and it even feels more supportive, I just hope it lasts.

re: seat/tsb

The alldata lonks to the tsb's don't work, they just bring you to the main webpage.

What is the number of the TSB?

How can I print it with out having to pay to see it on Alldatas website, so that I can bring it to my dealership.

Thanks,
Tonedog
