My '85 had a CSF radiator in it when I bought it. It was garbage, the cooling passages looked like soda straws that had been flattened by a steam roller. They were so tiny it was hard to see how you could get any coolant flow. And that led to engine overheating and more.

I replaced that with a GoDan 3-row radiator and the difference was dramatic.

The GoDan unit was a lot more beefy, the CSF radiator could be lifted out with one finger it was so light. The GoDan almost needed two hands to install it was that much heavier. And the interior passages were open to where you could actually see through them from top to bottom. That and it cooled so much better.

I picked up one of those all aluminum radiators a few weeks ago, have yet to install it. My plan right now is to use the aluminum radiator and a fill of that Evans non-aqueous coolant to make sort of a no-maintenance cooling system.

Nice! Well, don't spring any leaks. That stuff is expensive.
