Restoring a vehicle to factory new condition adds value ... but the same can't be said for the knickknacks. Knickknacks rarely get their money back. So all the lights, brush guards, winch, etc. are not going to push that truck over $20K. The reason is that any schmo can add those things at cost.

"By the way I don't go by with Blue Book pricing just so you know, so you may go ahead toss that book in the garbage."
Thank you captain obvious. I guess he's trying to get to the idiots who don't even know those exist. Maybe his name is McFly and has an '85 'yota that never ages because he has a DeLorean time machine...

I emailed him to see if it was local (he said the PNW), his version of the PNW is Montana. That is two states away from the Normal PNW (Oregon and
Washington). Asked him a bunch of the usual questions about the truck. He answered one, the engine is rebuilt with 9000 miles on the truck and was rebuilt by a Toyota Mechanic.

There's no way that 4-runner is worth that. Maybe to Matt, but no one else. Hello! It's a freakin Toyota, not a rare muscle car. Actually, you could probably buy a big block mopar muscle car in good shape for the same price or less. I paid $4,500 for my Cherokee. It's no toyota, but they last just as long, and they're CHEAP as hell right now! Be prepared to let that thing ride for a while. Or just wait for some retarded buyer to come along with $20k in hand.

you didn't see the sticker that said 'I brake for Fat Chicks'?

I think as someone stated before, his wife must be making him sell it. Maybe a baby on the way.

Although I don't agree with the price tag that is one really nice rig. I can't say that I'd want it though because I'd be afraid to wheel it and scratch it all up.
In the world of 4x4's there are all kinds of folks. Some buy, build, wheel and break things only to build again. Some folks buy, build, chrome and cruise. This one falls into the second catagory I think. It sort of reminds me of the Rubicons that guys buy brand new, lift, chrome, add on every aftermarket thing on the planet, some bas @$$ street lock rims and competition tires but never wheel. They look really really good....... at the mall. I've seen Scouts the same way and it all depends on what you want to do with it. You can either build a rig to pull split tail or build a rig to pull your buddies out of a bad spot in the hills, not both.
