now heres a little update on the E-brake;

i gotta say that wasnt easy task,theyre are so many people that ask the question "dont they make an 3.0l T-case E-brake kit" well nop,you gotta take a 4cyl kit and modifi it, just like i did,takes lots of patients ,but finally came up with something,not done on the bolting yet,that was a real PITA;

that braket is in the way,and since i dont need it anymore,it has to go!!

alright i got my c-clips,just finishing my gearing,and itl be a wrap quite soon.

i came up with a little problem that i later figured out

i was about to install my pinions when i saw theses numbers;

then i was kinda clueless about witch ones goes in front and witch ones goes in the back,so i checked with Brian witch refered me to ZUK gearing and they told me it was only a matching number no matter were you put hem just gotta put hem acordingly to the same number on ring gear!

ring gears installed;

Not to pay too much attention to detail, but isnt the steering stabilizer supposed to be on the other side of that tie rod??...i just installed one and was scared of flexing it up into the oil pan. If you think about it, it doesnt flex up that much anyways, but id be a little scared of the bottom tie rod flexin into it...idk...

Oh, and what are you gonna do for bump stops up front??

well thats the reason i did a 2wd oil pan swap,and im not gonna weld my bumstops until i get a clearer idea of where its gonna hit! gonna make a flex test prior to welding thoses!

thx guys,i apreciate

alright now i got my driveshaft back and balanced!

now for gearing i had a little problem with front diff pinion bearing spacer ,it seems to be too big cause when my pinion sits down in position ,the head of pinion comes in contact with the "gearbox" of spider gears,theres like 3 or 4 milimeters i gotta shave up that spacer! or might be that the bearing is not pressed enought against the pinion flange! gonna check it out tomorow,anyway i cant finish my front axle without the diff!!!

but i still have to finish rear diff thoe!

perfect surface contact;

quickly building front axle;

job done already!!

i need some manual hubs that has 30 spline,the ones i had were 27 !

some shots with front tires on,i finally think that ill be fine with just 2 inch longer shackles,ill custom made them out of 1/4 inch stainless steel metal! tomorow

yea defenetly!

alright i got the back togherter and it wasnt high enough ,like i atisipated,so i got my slightly longer shackles that are not finished yet,and im making some cutom axle shims for about 1 inch lift and with a 8 degree angle for a better driveshaft angle! so its gonna be two for one!
might have to reposition shock hangers,well see!

thats not the actual gap i gotta fillup ,dont worry!
i was only taking mesurements!!

cutting blocks;

meanwhile,when i got back from school it was time for finishups;

grille almost done!

Looking good.

I'd just weld the rear blocks on like you did the front 3/8" on the driver side so if need be you can cut it off easily.
