yet another leaf spring Question.

Hey everyone, I searched for some info on this on here, but only found references for spring companies?

I noticed with the downey Leaf springs you have to reuse your original load springs. Is this the same with the OME DAKKAR springs and the ALCON springs?
Just curious, the build i'm workign on currently has no springs on it what so ever. So would need the load part of the pack included on whatever I order.

thanks
Rick

Alcan usually builds you a complete spring pack, built to your specs for length, lift and load capacity:

I think OME is a complete spring pack as well. I have a few extra overload leaves if you need some for that kind of spring pack.

thanks for the reply, i was thinking of going with the OME springs cause they use the existing spring mounts. I thought they came as a complete spring, with the load spring included. But noticed that OME springs are now DAKKAR and not sure if they still have the load spring in them of not.

Thanks
Rick

Downey is a complete new spring pack as well and pretty decently priced.

You could call up OME and ask them about the springs. Alcan can also make stock length springs.

The OME DAKKAR spring packs are complete...I put some in. Things to know include: assume you'll need to replace your rear shackles as well as the shackle pins.
