Yet another ISR mod...
I did the ISR on my 1991 4Runner.
Sorry I didn't take pics of the build process, just the end result.
I got a 45 deg mandrel bent piece of 3" exhaust pipe from a local auto store and a couple of silicon couplers from one of the rice racer shops.
At the hardware store, I got a 1/2" id hose barb and a pipe fitting for that.
I also got a 3/8" hose barb, with a 1/4 npt thread base, and a female pipe fitting.
I picked up a coule of 90deg elbows as well.
After I got home, I used my metal saw to cut the ends off of the pipe fittings, which provided me with steel pipe thread bungs that I could weld onto the pipe.

I drilled 2 holes in the exhaust tube, 1 for each pipe fitting, then welded the pipe fittings to the pipe. I made a bit of a mess of the first one, and blew a hole in the tube, but I was able to backfill it and then grind my mess down.
However, I forgot one thing.
I forgot to antispatter spray the inside of the pipe before welding it up.

The second one went in pretty smoothly, but I had all of these nice little BB's inside the pipe from the first one.
Well... I Was using the grinding stone from a P&P kit I had to smooth out the welds, and I can reach the BBs with that. After doing so, I decided to heck with it, and finished polishing the rest of the intake pipe...
Anyhow, I painted it with some wrinkle coat.

The photos are 3 megapixel so dial up beware.
