Toyota Parts Cost: Knock Sensor 187.00???

Well I just called the local stealership and an OEM replacement knock sensor is 187 and change and the knock sensor wire is 10 bux and change. Does this sound right? Know anyplaces cheaper for an OEM replacement unit?

Check our vendors in the classifieds

25% off and free shipping is way cool. I have used them several times.

You spelled "dealership" wrong. Maybe a typo? Keep in mind, they pay a lot from Toyota parts distribution and dont make the MSRP. As for your knock sensor, I have never seen a bad one yet, EVER. Its always been good, just a corroded connection. If you can clean the pin in the sensor, give it a slight twist and DO replace the pigtail. You should be OK. Its a longf ways in, so if you wanted to replace the sensor to be sure of a perfect connection, its up to you. There, free advise from a "dealership" technician.
