Smile Yay! New DD: 4Runner #3

Picked it up today. B.C truck, very little rust (cleanest I've seen around here!). 3.0 Auto SR5;

Will be my DD, with the '91 getting chopped up for the trails. Still, a 1-2" BL and BJ spacers/OME springs will probably find their way on there. Can't drive a stock truck!

Oddly, it does NOT have AC, dispite being loaded otherwise. So I'm either to pillage my '91's AC system, or try and piece it together myself, I really like AC on my DD's.

Nice find. My old roomate had a 2nd Gen that color, but not nearly as nice. Dude, AC is highly overated. You live in the NW, does it even get over 60 degrees there?

Hahha!! My igloo is air conditioned, so I like my truck to have it too. And it was 73 here today.. beautiful day. Everything works, even the back window drops and raises fast. Passed safety, but I'll be replacing the front rotors (rusted & warped from sitting for 2 months) and the front wheel bearings are boarderline. Emissions test tomorrow, but it's all OE and dealer maintained so I expect no problems.

The PO switched jobs to Subaru, and they 'encouraged' him to buy the brand. That and gas was killing him for commuting 30 miles a day. I don't expect more than 20mpg from it, but I work 6 miles from home and ride ½ the time anyway. Truck was a steal at $1500 .

While it's my DD, I did go have some fun with a Jeep today;
