Worst 3.0 mods
I have seen 1 or 2 threads on 'worthy' 3vz mods/upgrades.....but i haven't seen any that discuss routes to avoid. since this can be subjective somewhat, basis is cost versus utility and would you NOT do it again second time around.

worst ever mayhaps? Tornado intake systems. I don't know why people buy these stupid things.
The idea with these engines usually is that less is more. There aren't many upgrades that add much power at all, and in terms of hp/$, its absolutely not worth it. I got the intake, and a cat-back exhaust from an exhaust shop. The beauty is how little I spend on these upgrades that give me a small but noticeable boost in performance, and a grin educing sound. Spend any more money on anything on my engine? not a snowballs chance in hell. Replace with a 5vze or 1UZ? oooh yeah.

most people don't get the headers for more power, they get them to help with the heat issues.
buttt, i'm accomplishing the same thing for like 1/6 the price...i got rid of my stock crossover and ran my exhaust into a dual inlet single outlet muffler....or well, that's what i'm going to do...crossover has already been torched
