wont start
i have an 89 V6 pickup and about a month ago i was driving down the road and hit a massive frost heave and the truck just shut off. i tried starting it and it would turn over but there was no spark. i checked all the wires and everything seemed fine. i just put in a new ignition coil cause there was no spark coming from there but still it wont fire up. any ideas?

its a frost heave...when the frost makes a bump in the road.
the plugs are farely new.
i tried starting it after i put the new ignition coil on and it turns over like normal but obviously there is no spark if it doesnt start. is that correct?

not necessarily.
there are many reasons why an engine won't star even if it has spark.
spark is very important. a simple way to test it is to pull off one of your wires put a spare (and Known good) spark plug in it, lay it against your block so it has a ground and turn the truck over to see if that plug sparks.
