Wont shift into L gear

1992 Toyota motorhome with automatic 3vze engine. Just did a motor swap from another Toyota motorhome. I can't shift into low gear, is this a matter of adjusting my shifter linkage?

Welllll... I noticed I have bolts not put in on my transmission. disclaimer, that area was my friend's doing. Hopefully that fixes the issue...

Bolted those in correctly, but I still can't shift to low and when I shift into reverse from either direction it jumps.
