Wite mistery? Ground?

Does anyone know what this wire is for? All 3 grounds are good but this is a mystery. Maybe something from previous owner
im searching for a possible short. My efi fuse blew up yesterday. Trafing possible shorts.

I also found this weird splice wire on the ecu.

Doesnt look factory. Seems like it would be pretty easy to trace where it goes.
Grounds don't usually have fuses on them.

thank you. I thought it didnt belong there. Now the ecu split wire has mw confused. It has a quick wire splitter.
im looking at the ecu list and looks like its for the speedometer.

starting from the top right. It should be 7 slots to the left.
SPD = speedometer. Why would anyone splice this?

Also I believe my EFI fuse blew due to a fuel kill switch wire scraping the ECU metal. So it was grounding out. Thankfully i wae on the city streets when it decided to blow the EFI fuse.

Well, both the wires are for some aftermarket device.
Personally, I'd remove(neatly). Especially that cheap quick splice.
In the ecu photo there's another pair of wires, one blue, in green shrink tubing that has "WOER" on it. That isn't factory, either. Might be worth tracking down, and removing if it's not doing anything anymore.

i'd like to believe that's not stock wiring... the white connector on it looks like something off of a computer power supply? were you able to track where the wiring goes?

I don’t think that big lug on the first pick is a ground. I bet it went to the battery. At some point it was disconnected from the battery and the loom folded back and tucked under the wiper motor loom.
massive connector, though. Winch?

thanks for the reply. Ill try to follow that wire and see where it leads.
The "woer" wire is a fuel pump kill switch from previous owner. The kill switch was not fully insulated. It was touching the ecu and i believe this made a short and caused the EFI fuse to blow. Does this sound like the culprit to the blown efi. No burner wires at the o2 sensor. No bare wires. Looks like that was the only possible thing.
