Wiring Diagram for Cab light in 87 4runner

In my 4runner somewhere the wire has either broke or came lose for my cab light and key light as neither come on or get power when my doors are opened, the lights on the doors work though but i think those are a separate circuit.

Thanks in advance

Pretty simple circuit, there should be 12 volts at the dome light at all times. Then the door switch closes to ground the light and turn it on. Could be someone messed up disabling the door buzzer module and if so, that can mess up the dome light operation.

door buzzer is the key. I removed mine and jumpered the 2 connections needed to make the dome light work.

Hello, Thanks I think thats what the previous owner did but I have no clue how, Could someone upload some pictures of where the bell or chimer should be and what wires I need to look for. I've looked under the dash and didn't spot one. Thanks!
