can u tint the back side windows on 1st gen 4runner...these windows are on the right and left with the little black dots all over...

 

Those little black dots are the tint. But I'd imagine if you got all the dots off tint would work. If not, you'd probably have a little bubble around every single black dot.

 

the black dots are known as the dot matrix. Yes you can tint your rear windows on the 4runner. You can tint any window if you want to. Make sure there isn't any tint on the window already. If there is you can tint over it but the tint has to be without imperfections. I would recommend having a shop tint it as there are a few tricks to getting the tint to stick to the dot matrix. A bit of glue stick helps and a combination of clean windows and heat will help as well.
