Leaky fuel injectors

Has anyone else pulled their hair out over leaky fuel injectors on a 22-RE? My son and I redid the top half of his motor, bought a injector kit with all new seals from eBay, got everything put together and....the injectors leaked.

I thought the problem might have been that I used a little "persuasion" to get the outer fuel rail to seal so that the bolts that hold it on would catch. Took everything back apart and replaced the o-rings on the injectors and everything was fine.

Now, he's been driving it a few weeks, and two injectors are leaking again. It seemed like one of the bolts holding the outer fuel rail on had come a bit loose, so I tightened that up, but no help.

Do I need new injectors? A new fuel rail? I'm going crazy with this!

Part of the problem here.

Depending on how you tackle this to get it right. Start with new washers on the banjo fittings, get all your parts from toyota, Get new o'rings as well. Lube the o'rings with a little gas as you install them. Make sure your work area is clean as a whistle. Cleanliness has saved my butt on o'rings before. The old oem o'rings and fuel system lasted for miles from toyota one would think that if they worked that well to begin with why replace them with anything else? Toyota vehicles like toyota parts. There is a reason these vehicles last as long as they do.
