Without getting into details regarding potential use this is a fair generalization.

I'll limit my dicussion to Warn only. From my experience the rest just aren't worth the effort and fake the numbers by comparison.

A problem with going for a 12000 is that most bumpers for Toys may not fit a winch over 9500 in capacity. The 12000 has the same bolt pattern but may not fit in the opening, likely a problem with the ARB. A 12000 is slower than an 8000 and much much slower than a 9500 under no load.

As far as pulling out other bigger rigs. Do you really want to? Will your bumper/frame be able to handle it. Is your rig even heavy enough to do it or would you need to double up for mass or connect to a tree. If you seldomly need that much power a snatch block is a lighter alternative that you ought to have anyway.

I paid $950 (I thin) for the ARB. He was giving me a deal because he had one in stock (so he thought). I think the price is normally around $1200. I don't know what they would sell one for if you called but it is worth the call.

IFS support. Ya I am going to go in on it. I will sign up a paypal account tomorrow ( I have been swamped this week) and send some money down to him for you and Bill. Then we will need to get together to settle up at some point.

i would rather have a multi mount type thing than having a winch in the front i have got stuck plenty of times to find out having a winch in the front is worth less
