I've got a 87 4runner, 4 cyl 5 speed. It's definitely seen it's better days. I've found a local guy with a 88 4runner, but it's a 6 cyl auto. I'm wanting to buy it (motor is shot) to use for parts. How much of the stuff would I be able to swap out? Main thing I'm thinking about is to pick it up if stuff like the rear end, front end, transfer case, etc. Would all that swap out with no problems? Thanks!

 

Most everything can be swapped on to your truck from the other truck.

 

Transfer case won't do you any good. The differentials can be used. All the body parts, etc. will be good to have.
