Will Transmission and Engine work from 4 runner?

Will Transmission and Engine work from 4 runner?
I have a 93 Toyota pick up and was wondering if the Transmission and Engine from a 1990 Toyota 4 runner will work in my truck? they are the same 22RE engine.

Door jam or under hood > tag > A/Tm = Axle and Transmission code.
Same same = same same...

well i thought it was different cause it doesnt have to due with the 6 cylinder, Friend just e-mailed me saying he has a 4runner with 22RE engine , I will check the tags to see if they are the same as the 4 runner. Just didnt know if trans in 4runners would be the same as the extended cab truck.
