will the oil pressure switch cut fuel?

I have an 89 toyota broken down. Trying to figure out if a bad oil pressure switch can cut out the fuel pump?

No, it won't. Toyota uses a Circuit Opening Relay to cut off fuel.

Why...is the fuel pump not coming on? Have you jumpered B-Fp in the diagnostic port under the hood?
