Will a Jeep winch bumper fit ??

Wondering if anyone has tried to mount a Jeep winch bumper on their 2nd gen Truck ?

im confused to why anyone would think that a jeep chassis and a toyota frame use the same mounting points for bumpers. no. a jeep bumper and a toyota pickup bumper are not interchangeable.. that being said, you can always hack the mounting brackets off and make custom one. most aftermarket toyota bumpers will use the body bushing bolts up front as extra tie in points. sandwich the front cross member and then add some strength to the "ears" that are on top of the front cross member.

4+ year old threads usually end up with a dead end, thousands of dead ends in forums, I doubt there is an update as it made no sense to begin with….

Yes...but...apparently my tongue in cheek response was lost on all but a few, four years ago and now. Donning the Captain Obvious hat...why wouldn't you buy one that fits a Toyota in the first place and save yourself all the headache?
