Will a 93+ grill fit on a '90 4runner?

I want the grills which the headlights are flush and not the replacable headlights like my 1990.
If I got a grill from a '93 would it just clip in along with the head & corner lights.

Thanks

Problem is the way the headlights mount. You can make it work, but it is not a bolt-on.

Do you know what it would entail to make it work? A little bracket, modification of the plastic?

You may like the look better, but the sealed beam headlights suck ass and there are NO options for replacement. Stick with your square ones. I actually was thinking about swapping to the older setup so I could get some headlights with a halfway decent beam pattern (like the Hella VisionPlus)

Personaly, I like the lights on my '90 (sealed beam--doesn't have removable bulb). I think the '90 and '91 look a bit more aggresive than the '92+. My favorite front is on the newer 3rd gen trucks. I've had thoughts of putting a '94 truck front end on my 4Runner. The grill, valance, and bumper are a bit different. Still sealed beam headlights too.

I've seen pictures of the '92+ front end on a earlier 4runner and also trucks, so I know it's doable. I don't know what all is involved, but I say go for it!

Well, just my $.02.

From what I've read, it's the way the euro headlights mount that's the big deal. Requires cutting a bit of the core support and then bracket fabrication. Not sure if the clips for the grill line up either.
It's not insurmountable to be sure, but it's not gonna be as easy as just adding a few screws. The headlights have to be oriented properly, the adjusters only go so far.
I wouldn't consider this a particularly difficult modificiation, but it's probably not for the guy who thinks installing a billet flashlight bracket is a "mod."

I was just wondering... not a big deal I guess.

I just think it sort of looks cleaner with the sealed beam lights, but thats a good point on the upgradability issues regarding the bulbs.

I wont bother then, I have too much on my plate with my SAS and engine buildup.

I am sanding off the chrome and painting my grill/light bezels so it will look pretty good I guess.

Thanks
