The right shock angles to the rear of the truck, the left shock angles forward. Take another look.

So saying one won't notice a difference in ride implies the driver doesn't know his truck, which may be the case, but I can feel the roll in a truck when it has a faulty shock.
x2... i busted a rear shock mount the other day on my 91. it was blatantly obvious.

sorry, had to do it.

as you can see, everyone is saying you should have two shocks on the rear.
honestly thats what its like. i broke one shock off roading, and only had one attached stilll. i figured id take em both off, dont do it it sux on the street.
