Was searching for a turbo specific forum on here but couldn't find one. It would be nice to know specificly who to go to for help if needed. Introduce yourself and give a little info about your ride. I'll start. The names Jim, live in PA. have whats left of a factory 86 rte xtra cab truck. mods include
-motor- block bored 20 over, topline turbo spec pistons, clevite bearings, arp head and main studs, cometic mls hg, RE head for higher compression w/os valves (engnbldr). DOA c270 cam, rc 370 injectors, ct26 supra turbo swap w/ shimmed wastegate for 10 lbs boost, intercooler, bov, and lots of custom built piping and parts, still running factory ecu for now
-trans- was auto originaly but converted to R151 turbo trans
-transfer cases. have them backwards. 23 spline up front 21 spline rear w/ advanced adapter inbetween. custom twin sticked rear. (too cheap to buy another 23 spline for rear), custom driveshafts
-axles- front sas out of 85 runner vented fj rotors v6 callipers. marlin high steer, welded, stock turbo 4 pinion rear. have Dana 60's that will be going in soon.
-suspension frame and tires- xtra cab on regular cab frame, thrown together front suspension, ~2" springs w/ custom front crossmember, rear chevy 63's, rancho rx 9000 shocks, 38" tsl's on beat 15X10's
-other- custom bed, jeep tj rear fender flares thrown on the front, 1 inch body lift to clear frame crossmember and gastank, and alot more stuff!!!! custom parts built by me. had 268,000 original on odometer before I started to build the Rat TuRD. Sorry this is so long but I did leave out alot of things.
