i love ext cab 3rd gens....
Great looking truck. Those 38's really fill the wheel wells nice. Do they rub when their stuffed?

I like the fender flares. Are those bushwhackers? Do you catch much grief from folks for running those? I catch all kinds of crap from my buddies for running 3" flares on my samurai.

Also anybody know what the hell this stock Toyota color is called? Sometimes looks green, sometimes gray. The PO must have cracked up the right front, did a bad job of matching the paint. At least he got the stock decals removed, still don't know what Toyota was ever thinking with those, except maybe back in the 70's and 80's.

I believe the color is imperial jade mica. My truck is the same color as yours. Some days I love it and some days I don't. I've been trying to find a matching front fender for months now but it seems everything is blue or red. Maybe we have more of a rare color.

Jason
Yeah Jason I'm the same way, some days I like it, think it's a pretty decent color and some days I'm like...man it's green. I have seen one other one the same color around town, but all in all yeah it's more rare than other colors.

The paint job is still in decent shape, so I'm not gonna do anything to it, but at some point in the future this thing could be dark blue or black.
Here's my '92. I love it, got it last year with only 96K miles on it, but I really don't like the 92-95.5 grills. I had a '91 Runner and that grill was so much cooler looking. Anybody know if it's just a simple swap, snap one out and the other in, or if you have to change around the headlight's also? I'd like to change it out.

lol, I have an '89 and going to try and swap out for the 92-95 grille

Its HUGE cuz that body lift. The reason why i kept the body lift cuz im doing my 3.4 Tacoma swap. but im taking out the body lift and putting in my 4" Alcan front springs and going with chevys rear. Trail-Gear 5" front and rear is tall. Its scary when im on the rocks

There's nothing better than the 89-91 front. Here's my '89…

360chris and kinzer.....those are two of the cleanest looking pickups I've ever seen. You guys are killing me with the 89-91 grills, I want to switch mine out so bad.

highway....what is it that you like better about the 92-95 grills? The thing that bothers me most is the lame Toyota symbol as opposed to it saying "TOYOTA". The grill style isn't all that bad, I just hate that symbol. Actually I like the lower valance on the 89-91 better also, but it's impossible to find them anywhere without them being banged up and a mess.

You should be able to get a new aftermarket one for about 20-25$... They need to be painted. I have new ones for both my 1990 and my 1993 which I haven't installed or painted yet.

I guess to me it just looks cleaner, i'm either gonna swap out for the 92-95 grille or go billet.
