Where to get Sunbrella material?
I am formulating a plan to make a soft top for the 4runner and my jeep. Where is the best place for purchasing sunbrella material?

I found eBay to have the best deal on Subrella. You can find it in many different colors, widths, and lengths. I am in the LONG process of making my own Can-Back inspired soft top right now. I got rid of my oringinal hard top over a year ago and have been riding pretty much in the open air ever since. Here's my soft top thread...

I've never heard of that other stuff. I would still go with the Sunbrella even though it's a little more expensive. One problem I've seen with soft top materials (bikini tops, jeep tops) is that they tend to expand and contract in different temperatures. The sunbrella, although it has a little elasticity, after over a year of being on my truck, has not really shown any sagging.

That's weird, I just checked out eBay to see who I bought my Sunbrella from. I got it from a seller named sailors_exchange who now has no auctions. They were a power seller and had tons of colors and different amounts for a great price. I guess that Sailright looks about the same. I just went with Sunbrella because I read a few good reviews of it on boat websites and it's what Can-Back uses. Did you check the prices on Sunbrella's website?

Find a boat cover that someone lost/discarded like I did. 15x8'! Only it's very, very blue.... . Now, I'm researching how to paint it.
