From what I can see in the pic, yeah. I think you'll need to rework your signals. You could always retrofit those to the side markers.

I'm thinking maybe thats a 2wd bumper because it looks like it mounts to the 2wd strut frame.......

*Edit*

Never mind, just saw the new pics and it does look to be the older style Downey guard, but it still seems weird to me...

Here's how I did mine on my old '89. It has 2 L-shaped brackets for the upper mount. I think it was made by smittybuilt. Sorrry for the grainy pic, I had to scan an old photo.

The bracket connects #1 with one of the holes in #2 I think (pic below)

Do you have a body lift on your truck? that may make it necessary to fab up a bracket out of some angle stock. I had to do a little fancy fab work and make a 2 - 3-inch bar that connected the bumper to the "L" brackets supplied with the bumper. Did you get yours with the original aluminum "skid" plate?

It shouldn't be too hard, and if you keep the OEM bumper on the slots in it are perfect for the bracket to go through. That, and you can still have turn signals. If I was closer I'd be over there to help.

Good luck,
Andy

i can test fit it and make it stay with the stock bumper on, but i cant figure out how to mount it. i can mount the very bottom, and thats where it ends.

It only mounts in 4 places on the truck. the two lower mounting tabs bolt in where the factory skid plate mounts (you have to remove the original skid plate) and the two upper mounting tabs that should mount to those threaded holes I circled in your earlier pic. The top two are light mounting tabs (but you prolly knew that, sorry). Also, in the photo of the bumper (front view) the bumper looks kind of bendy, what's up with it?
