Where does this hose go?!?

I am putting my engine back into my 86 Toyota pickup with the 22RE engine, and have connected all of the hoses/lines and I am left with one coolant line and i have no idea where it goes, i don't see any unplugged holes. If anyone knows I would really appreciate some help. Here are some pics.

THANK YOU!

That's a fuel line. It connects to the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail.

It snakes up to the rear of the intake plenum area near the firewall.

correction...

It's the inlet fuel line leading to the fuel filter. It loops up then back down to the fuel filter, and it would appear from your 3rd picture that you have the outlet from the filter hooked to the fuel rail already

it's hard to see in this nasteyness, but you can see the same hose on the bottom-left of this picture from when I removed my intake:

i am almost positive it is not fuel all my fuel lines have that special connector on them that has the bolt on it. this line went on a barb connector and i think it had coolant come out of it when it was disconnected.

you do have 2 coolant lines on that side, that go to the throttle body, or more specificaly the IACV, but those do not go near the fire wall. the only coolant lines that go near the firewall are the ones to the heater core, and those are on the complete other side of the motor. the fuel line is in 2 separate peices over there. there's the one you've pointed out that runs from there at the firewall to the fuel filter bolted direcectly to the motor block under the intake, and then out of the other side of the filter there's a line that tuns up through the gap in the intake manifold and goes to the fuel rail

just turn the igntion and see if fuel sprays out...

sigh...

yes, it is a fuel line, but that line DOES NO CONNECT TO THE FUEL RAIL, it goes to the fuel filter; I am 230% sure of it

sorry for the mix up in my first pic it was a bad angle and you can not tell that the line that my wife was holding does not have a connector on it. i already connected both fuel lines one from the tank to the filter and the filter to the fuel regulator. thank you for the help and the pics they helped out a lot. also i looked at my spare intake and it had the complete line still attached to it so that is how i figured it out.

The line in this picture DOES go to the FPR

Take a closer look, there is no barb fitting on the end of it for the fuel filter. I looked on my truck before I posted my first reply. That line in the picture 100% goes to the FPR.

well holy crap dude, your right

I'm not affraid to admit I am wrong; I surely though that was the inlet line, not the return line it's been a while since I've screwed with that side of the motor

that even makes since looking at my pictures and where it loops around to
