Where is the coolant temp SENSOR...

89 3.0 runner. I got the part but the manual only tells me where the SENDER is not the SENSOR. One should be for the guage and one should be for the EFI. I even thought the sender was the sensor but when I looked for myself they are two different parts.

if your looking at the motor from the front of the truck, its to the left of the temp sending unit, in the same general area

There is 4 of them in a row back there and none seem to have the same connector as the one I bought? Which one is it? Anyone know off hand?

This appears to be a different setup than mine. Mine has 4 connectors in a row and a water tube on either side. They seem to be the same fittings and perform the same purpse but are jsut in different locations. What engine is that photo from?

ummmm somthing like a 90 3vze. they changed the stuff back for various years and models.

the one on my 94 truck is diffrent from the one on my 92 4runner which is diffrent than the one you see in the pic.

i was under the impression that the colors of the connectors would be the same (although they might not be in the same locations)
