where to buy complete brake rebuild
Looking to replace the brakes on my 94 4runner sr5 3.slow. just wondering where the best most "cost effective" place to do this would be? ALso what particulars? such as which rotors, calipers, and pads? any help would be greatly appreciated..

Complete rebuilt calipers for $119 (Four piston V-6). Rotors are about $39. Brake hoses, etc. all available. They have good reps & are sponsors here on the forum.

Lordy... I love workin at a brake shop lmao... Replaced everything (aisin hubs back) both sides for <$50...
Borrow a digital caliper, and mic your rotors. If they're not at min thickness and not too warped, just have them lathed. Save you a good chunck of change. Go with semi-metallic pads. I've used both, and yeah the ceramics may stop a tad better (once you get em warmed up that is), it just aint justify the price difference to me... Plain ol' stock brake hoses will be fine, but you can splurge for wire braded hoses if ya want. If your pistons aint phenalic, and your calipers aint aluminum you can just hone the caliper and sand the piston, and just buy a caliper rebuild kit (dust boot and rubber ring for each piston per caliper. Will need to buy two rebuild kits if doing both sides) and you'll save a ton of money instead of buying new calipers...
Thats bout all I can think of right now.
