Haha, there is no need to torque those bolts down. Use a small rachet and just do em till they are snug. Its not holding the truck together

Butt plug for your transmission, only required for 2wd.

The 2wd driveshaft seals the rear of the transmission, so when you pull it out, you have an opening to pour gear oil all over your chest and shoulders when you start moving the transmission down. (1st-gen RX-7s are the same way)

If you don't have the tranny butt-plug, just drain all of the oil first and then stuff a rag around the output shaft after pulling the driveshaft.

4x4s transmissions are bolted up to xfer case, so you don't need to worry about it.
