Wheel/Tire help

I am looking for some black rims and tires to go onto a stock 1989 4runner. What can i fit? Was looking at the following rims(but want more suggestions)

Unique 297 -> 15X8 6-5.5 6B

What tire(s) should I look at? Thinking about some 31s, think should fit on stock(no raise has been done)

Here is a pic of some really ugly rims I have on it right now, you can see why I need to get this changed really quick.

i have the same rims as you, and hate them so much.(thinking about painting them tomorrow) The specs on those Unique 297 rims looks like itll be ok if its a 15x8 6lug rim. you can fit 31's with no lift and will be fine with stock gearing.

Welcome to YotaTech
Check Wheelers Offroad. They have 15" steelies and alloys. Great folks to work with. You will be fine with 31's. You could probably even push it to 32's with minimal rubbing, but 31's for sure.

you can get Cragar Soft 8 wheels in either 15x7 or 15x8 from www.summitracing.com for like $35-$38 each. Either size will work well with 31x10.50 tires.

Back in the day when the cheapest vehicle you could buy was a pickup (wow things have changed) all the base model Toyota 4x4's came with those white wheels. They finally updated them in the early '90s, but they were just a silver version of those same wheels. The spare on my '94 is mounted on one of them, and my '88 came with all 5 tires on the white wheels.
