on my 1987 4runner 22re I sometime can hear a clicking sounds come from the drivers side engine bay and when i hear it the 4runner loses power (sounds like a relay maybe). its intermittent and only happens occasionally. anybody know what this might be or had a similar problem?

cv's? Fuel injector tick? Take a vid if you can it's hard to diagnose something we ourselves can't hear. Maybe a bad switch?
