sea foam, and marvel... but the best thing to do is pull the injectors and have them cleaned and tested at an injector specialty shop.

BG 44k. Hard to find, some dealers carry it. I've seen it work wonders!

I've used seafoam in the gas tank. I have friends and people on here as well will recommend using it in the intake.

i've never used sea foam but i've found that lucas does a good job at keeping the gunk out of the injectors and intake ports. i use it maybe once every 6 months.

I use Lucas.

On the other hand, I hear the NOS energy drink, pictured above, works wonders on GSXR engines....

Yet another for Seafoam in everything, however you should plan on changing your oil and filter soon afterwords.

@Tofer: I love you.

seafoam is the best Ive used. Half can in crank half in engine with a full tank gas..then oil change as soon as you empty...you will notice the difference.

Either Seafoam or Lucas really smooth out the idle on my 3.0. Seems to run quieter (like less exhaust noise) too.

I've been pouring some off the shelf carb cleaner additive into my tank, but that's because I was having some hard starting in the winter that I ended up taking care of with some carb cleaner spray on a gummed up throttle. Haven't really finished the present tank of gas off yet, but it has been running a little nicer as the tank's gone on (somehow it's kept the gas from going bad over several months). Really I think I just need to rebuild my carb and change the fuel filter, but I'm lazy and have other things to take care of first and this helped do the trick. Don't know if it'd be okay using the same stuff in an EFI equipped vehicle, but I'd probably avoid it just because it's meant for carbs and not injectors (last thing I want to do is give someone advice that fouls those stupid little needle valves).
