Yeah the garage is usually empty. I'd bet that most of us have to break into our "wheeling boxes" just to do routine work on the rig. You'd be suprised how many times I've gone to the tool box in the garage only to realize that I've gutted it to fill my off road bag. Every time I do a monthly clean up of the rig I end up finding sockets under the seat or a ratchet in the glove box and then I spend an hour redoing the off road box so I can find everything.

I actually have several soft pouches from the military that hold all the wrenches and sockets and such. All in all I'd say that my camping box weighs in at about 200 pounds and the tools add another 150 or so. It may sound like a lot but I'd rather have it and not need it than the other way around.

silicone plumbers sealant (small tube for emergency leaks)
RTV silicone gasket maker

From: Cincinnati, Ohio - Amelia is the exact place. There is no one else on this site from where I am. Seems like everyone is from Cali or Washington. I guess I need to move.
It is horrible when you have to have tools of this magnitude in a truck with you at all times, however it is needed so here we go

MAC tools 1/4 and 3/8 metric set with wobble and std ext set
Gearwrench Dbbl box end 10mm-18mm
Large breaker bar
1 of the following (oil, coolant, washer fluid, break fluid)
Pliers, Vice Grips, Wire stripper tool
tapes, lubes, cleaners
Big "legal beat stick" maglite
Electrical value pak w/ fuses, connections, and wires.
Rope, chains, left over fire wood.
Occausionally will carry the Martin accoustic, in case I have to wait.

Not quite the "Sears on wheels" as most of you, but do have some security.
