Either a Dive Shop or a "search" for "snorkel/snorkel mod
Don't forget to do the flipper mod once you have the snorkel ROFL

IFS diffs DO have breathers, I have extended bretahers on mine.

I have a 97 camaro. LS1, bored .30 over. SUpercharger running 12 PSI,100 shot of NO2,race cams, all new internals, full race suspension, Z06 wheels, black leather and t-tops ;-) The list is WAY more complicated than that, but thats the short list for yuo to get an idea. I'll be running it on slicks soon, and i know it will be low 9s

no the diffs. are still open. with the locker left and right turn no matter what, but 4 low with open diffs. you can have one front and one rear turning and the other 2 not.

as for what to do with the 400 bucks i think you should save it for your sas. a winch seems like a good idea too but my deal is nothing over 100 bucks until the sas is done

I have always prefered the limited slip traction lock diff.s but only because it makes it a bit more streetable and in the end the result is the same when you need it , but then I was not born in a 4WD

true^^ that locker is good for the guy who drives mostly ON road, and needs his truck to get to that campsite, or fishing hole..But some people NEED a stronger, more capable locker. NOTHING beats the ARB. On the street you have no idea its there. When you need it, you press a button and you know your garunteed to be locked until you press the button again. But this shouldnt turn into a debate on what locker is best.

well think about it this way... if youre going to SAS.. you need to lift the rear to match. if youre going to lift, im sure youll want big tires. if you want big tires, you would want to regear the diffs to compensate on the street. if youre going to regear, you might as well toss in the lockers. i mean, having a big tired rig without lockers is all show. i would just save up overall if in the end you really want a built rig. just weld the rear up for now and wheel it. that's what i did while i bought everything to turn my rig into a destroyer. youll be stoked on how much farther those welded rear spiders will take you!
