What should I add to my center console?

My 4Runner is pretty clean inside and almost all stock. But the PO installed an alarm system (back in the 90s) with keyless entry which I actually like. What I didn't like is that they cut holes in the center console to house a valet switch and a flashing blue ugly LED indicator. Normally I don't like to cut into panels on these old trucks, but since there were two holes already I am okay with it. I found a Toyota Security indicator from an 80-series and just hooked up the existing wiring from the blue LED and now it flashes the Toyota led when it's armed. I am happy with that. Looks factory enough for me.

What I am unsure of is what to do with the hole left behind from the valet switch (which wasn't connected to anything at all). I want something that looks factory but can't figure out what it should be. I already put a fog light switch in the stereo bezel blank. Any idea? I thought maybe a USB port from a Toyota or something, but it would need to sit on top of the center console and most I've found sit flush.

Basically just looking for some cool ideas of what I could put there that would look like it belonged.

Hmmmmm, that security light rocks!!!! So I take it you don’t want to make a bigger hole for a usb plug?

I would make a bigger hole for a usb plug! I just want it to look like it's OEM. It could even be from another car manufacturer as long as it's not too tall, but wouldn't I also need to step down the voltage? It would be ideal if I could tie it into my stereo some how.
Something like this would be ideal...but I don't know I would wire the other end of it.

Try this surface mount one. It's shallow and doesn't protrude much below. It still fits semi-flush. You have the hole for the power feed. Just need to drill two small screw holes. Plus it has a cap. I like it.

You can run the power from the dash cigarette lighter if you want it switched off when ignition is off. I did a behind the center console Aux Socket for my Garmin GPS that way. I

Amazon Amazon

I totally forgot to check back here!!

So if you want to tie into your deck it’s totally possible depending on your deck having usb. So the one you pictured I’m sure you could make work but being for Apple and android auto I think it gets complicated, possible? Heck yea, anything is possible but might take some research and more time than you want to put in it integrating with power and data.

I came across this just searching around and dang it’s cool but um expensive….

boy it looks cool though!!! Halo lighting around the plugs, usb C, but no data just charging.

Anyway post some pics of whatever you end up doing!!!!

I removed everything that is electrical from my console. It will catch any spill from whatever you put in that console.
