I'm interested in this as well. I would love to have something to do over winter break coming up and this would be perfect. Maybe take out the rear heater and add depth to the console?

yeah i was thinking about that too, i hate how the 4runner console only has about a few inches of depth, its barely enough to fit anything good in there

Somebody needs to fabricate something to hold cup since the dash mounted cupholders are one of the worst ideas in the history of civilization.

im actually planning on "tubbing" my center console this winter to make room for my CB... since it wont fit anywhere else and the girlfriend complains if it kills her leg room, i decided that passengers can live without rear heat...

Consoles from SR5 Pickups have lots of storage volume. No rear heater!

Well I wish I had a car PC. Though not in the center console.

As for mine, I took it out and added some gear shifts. Much, much better.

Isaac: That cup holder looks to be in the ideal spot for the second case shifter. If I were you I'd tell people you had to shift gears individually for each wheel.

SeanzOrz: Isn't it a little dangerous to watch (adult content films) while you drive? I noticed you DO have an automatic though, how convenient.

I'm pulling the one out of my SR5 pickup and putting in one from Wal-mart that is used for mini vans. It has a heck of a lot more room that the factory one and comes with a locking top.

LOL.

Actually, TC has his shifters through the cup holder. It makes things really tight, but retains the stock console.
