what is the easiest way to remove oil pan from 95 4x4 4runner 3.0

I just bought a 95 4x4 4runner. I was told that engine was siezed. I got it home, turned the engine backward, then it stopped, turned engine forward, then it stopped. I think a rod cap probably came off so I need to romove the pan to check it. Looking for a quick and easy way to do this.

There is no real easy way .

Unless you have a SAS with a lift then it is easy

Disconnect and drop the differential

Loosen enough things to lift the engine high enough

The pick up tube is always a pain

I found that besides dropping the diff (actually relatively easy), removing the idler arm bolts so the steering crossbar can hang loose (down) worked well. I DID NOT have to fiddle with engine mounts or jacking it up.
