3.0 oil pan leak

I think it is the oil pan gasket that is leaking, however I am not sure yet. The previous owner had the engine rebuilt and its got a nice slow oil leak from the copper silicon gasket and it seems like there is alot to get to it and pull it out to put a real gasket in there. Does anyone know the easiest way to do this and/or if there is any other thing notorious for causing a leak near where the oil pan is? It's a 92 4runner 4x4 with 3.0 v6 motor 5spd manual tranny. Thanks.

did you try to just tighten the bolts? might be a good temporary fix.

if he had it rebuilt then i would say he bought a cheap sealer to go on it. toyota does not use an oil pan gasket, they use a grey silicone sealer. go toyota and buy the black sealler they sell now and pull they pan and clean all of it and use that it works great.
