What do these three lights mean (Brake/Battery/AT Oil)

Driving home tonight 3 random lights came on all at once. My Brake Light, the Battery (Discharge) light, and AT Oil Temp all lit up simultaneously and stayed on. Battery gauge reads that it's charging, oil is fine (not empty) and the Ebrake isn't on.

I checked the manual and couldn't find out what's up, does anyone know if this means something or just some random short?

When it first happened I was about 2 hours from home. I pulled over, added some water and let the truck sit for a minute. Started it up, all lights were off, so I drove home. Took it easy for about 30 minutes (50 in a 60 MPH) and it was driving/running fine. Then went 60 the rest of the way home.

No lights came on until I hit my home town and went 25 again...the first time they came on I was going 60 and slowed down to 35 to enter a town. Now they are still on after letting my truck sit (off) for an hour.

Clueless, any light would be much appreciated!!!

Mike

I'm willing to bet that it's gonna happen a bit more often over the next few days. And you'll notice it more so when you slow down (foot off the gas) If it does check to see if your alternator is charging.... May be starting to go...

That's right. And check the health status of the battery.

Also check the wires to the starter.
