I bought an aisin kit from http://www.wabfab.org/. It's OEM parts and he'll ship it way faster than marlin. I paid $149 plus shipping for my 90 22re. I couldn't be happier with it.

well, my stocker only lasted 96K miles, It was getting weak when I bought it but the first owner did some towing with it so that's why I think it went prematurely.
how long have you been driving on the lce dual chain conversion?

I know generally a toyota clutch should last that long, this truck I just picked up was used for some heavy towing and maybe someone didn't know how to drive it properly. How hard was the conversion to the dual row and how much did the kit cost you?

Came with everything, new oil pump, water pump, chain, metal backed guides, tensioner, sprockets, cover, gaskets and hardware. It does add to the rotational mass of the engine though, not that 22RE's are known for their fast revving.

have you noticed any performance increases? I mean I'm considering just getting the cheap kit from engnbldr and buying a water pump and whatever else as needed. I suppose you are just betting on the longevity of the lce kit right?

No performance increases, just didn't want to mess with it for a long time.

I put in a Marlin Crawler 2100lbs Clutch kit this weekend. I couldn't be any happier. Check the slack in your pedal when you are done and give it a quick bleed, sometimes air gets into the slave cylinder even if you didn't unhook the lines.
Replace your rear main seal while you have her apart.

Thanks for the input on the slave cylinder. that makes sense.
I did use an impact gun to take the flywheel off this time but last time i just used a regular ratchet and didn't have any problems. I replaced my seal because i had been told to "do it while i was in there". But then again i could tell it was leaking and i was replacing the flywheel anyway.
I probably don't have as much experience as you do so maybe thats why i appreciate the tips on what else to do while i'm "in there".

Clutch Cylinder fluid? I keep a couple bottles of DOT 3 brake fluid in the vehicle. I've only ever used that in my clutch. I've never heard of clutch fluid.
