Driving around town I constantly see other 4runners With almost no rear end sag, it frusterates me because of how saggy mine is, what causes this rear end sag? Old warn out struts??? Warn out coils?? Other than coil spacers is there any other fix for this Problem?

i think its just the coil springs wearing down over time, id just replace the coils instead of spacers

In all honesty it is just coils compressing. 4Runners like many other SUV's have a lot more weight on the back than a regular pickup so they tend to sag much faster over time.

Rear Springs is something that Toyota has never gotten right.
All Five of my trucks have had rear springs issues.
The rear springs in my Camry suck as did the springs in my '89 Tercel...

This is good picture showing why alot of older vehicles have rear sag.

Well... think about it. New from the factory, these springs sat completely level. If any higher, it would look "raked" springs settle, so therefore, the factory springs, settled and ended up lower than they thought. My 4Runner never had sagging problems, but when i added a 200 lb bumper, & stereo. I added a coil spacer, and now it sits half an inch higher in the rear, even with that weight.

Yeah, coil fatigue. Those coils are old, and that is a lot of compressing over time! Everything wears out.

I wonder what kind of weight limit those tires have on them.

The last thing I would ever wanna do on a bike is put a big lady on the back and hit the highway going 70+ mph in a t-shirt and no helmet

I think most sports bike have 350-380 weight limit, and that pool little cbr is pushing 450+.

Yes that and if you think about a new vehicle, take 100 typical test drives and think of what the results are if you have a nice "car-like" ride vs. a much firmer "truck-like" ride. I think 99 out of 100 would prefer the softer ride. And how many of those folks preferring the comfy ride are thinking what those soft springs will be like in 10 years.
